The Centre for Policing Research and Learning are delighted to be hosting the 2018 SEBP conference in Milton Keynes.
The Centre exists to create and use knowledge through both research and education to improve policing. In this way, the Centre contributes to the work of police forces as they adapt to a changing policing landscape, with its greater emphasis on evidence-based practice.
The conference will showcase new research and knowledge across all areas of policing and will include world-class academics. The conference fee will be £60 for early bird registration and £85 thereafter. The conference takes place at The Open University in Milton Keynes, just half an hour from London and Birmingham by train. Milton Keynes is one of the fastest growing cities and a great economic success story in the UK and on the way to being the UK’s premier digital smart city. The campus facilities including free Wi-Fi, access to the physical library, cafés and restaurants. Conference delegates wishing to stay overnight can do so at either of two very suitable hotel facilities next to the campus.
